the 100 Year March
-peace, education, equality and justice

Dear President Chirac,

I am the founder of an organization in America, the 100 Year March [
www.100yearmarch.org]. We are dedicated to political activism in the U.S. that will lead to electing leaders that share our vision of peace, respect for human rights, equality and justice. We envision a place where every child born in the world can have access to quality education, medicine and healthcare, safe food and drinking water, clean air, a home and freedom from violence or threat. A place free from prejudice or hatred because someone looks different, believes differently or was born in a different place than our own.

We salute your decision and similar decisions by other world leaders not to belong to a "Coalition of the Drilling" and lead a first-strike aggression against another country that had not attacked or threatened its neighboring countries or any American or French-allied entity. We hope that by our next election, America can again sit at the table of the world, as a benevolent beacon for peace and good global citizenship, and not as a barbaric, first-strike aggressor that will bomb its political enemies into submission.

Sincerely,

George A. Polisner
