Presenter

About/Link

Scott Ritter

Mr. Ritter is the former Chief UN Inspector, author and lecturer. He speaks with passion and eloquence about America and respect for our Constitution and Bill of Rights. He accurately predicted that there would be no WMD found in Iraq, because none exist. The war was an illegal war and America was lied to. More about Mr. Ritter here

Charles Liteky

I am personally awed to be in the presence of Mr. Liteky. In Vietnam, under hostile fire he pulled 23 soldiers to safety, risking his own life for theirs. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and the lifetime tax-free stipend of $600.00 per month. He returned both the Medal of Honor and the economic benefit to the US government to protest US intervention in Central America and the suffering of people inflicted by brutal governments we supported with cash, weapons and training at the School of the America's. Charles recently returned from Iraq as a Peace team delegate through Voices in the Wilderness.

Marie Davis

Ms. Davis is a captivating speaker and I am personally pleased that she will presenting about so many people of different races, cultures, nations and beliefs joining hands for Peace. Marie is the Chair of the Reparations Committee for the NAACP.

Brian Rawson

Brian is director of campaign organization for Oxfam/Make Trade Fair. Brian is traveling from the east coast and is competing with Scott Ritter for longest trip to our Symposium and Benefit! Make Trade Fair is trying to counter the devastating economic impact of globalization for impovershed workers worldwide.

Paul Gilbert

Mr. Gilbert is a Board member of the Northern California chapter of the ACLU. At a time when Patriot Acts II is looming, and John Ashcroft is blathering about the sinister usurping of our Civil liberties is not enough within the proposed Patriot legislation, it is difficult to think of another organization I would want on our side!

Torill Eide

Torill Eide has been dedicated to the international peace process for a long time. She is coming from Oslo, Norway on a tour of America to organize the a march for peace, to foster friendship and understanding between Israeli and Palestinian women. For more, see the Human Rights March.

Dorinda Moreno

Dorinda Moreno earned a Cesar Chavez Lifetime Achievement Award, for her service with the United Farm Workers. Dorinda Moreno is a woman who has worked tirelessly for the rights of the people. Our initial contact was one of the inspirations behind the formation of this event. Dorinda will be speaking with Torill, representing the Human Rights March.

Alpesh Patel

Alpesh is President of the local Peace Action of San Mateo County and on the leadership council of California Peace Action. A tireless organizer, compelling speaker, friend and mentor.

David Mezzera

Mr. Mezzera spent 32 years in education and now is part of the National Advisory Group on School of the America's watch (SOA Watch). He is also a member of Veterans for Peace and Solano County Peace and Justice. His dedication to closing down the School of the America's (now called WHINSEC) is part of a noble effort among many who know this "School" is an affront to intelligent people everywhere. How can we demand human rights from other countries while we train others in how to assassinate and torture?

Paul George

Mr. George is the Director of the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center and radio personality.

Rev. Darin Nathan

Rev. Nathan is Professor of Intercultural Studies at Hope International University, and the Chair of the Creative Arts & Social Justice Committee of Interfaith Communities United for Peace and Justice, a noted actor and poet.

Doug Mattern

Mr. Mattern is President of the Association of World Citizens and acclaimed speaker on issues such as nuclear arms, disarmament, social justice and the United Nations.

Blase Bonpane

Mr. Bonpane is Director, Office of the America's, author of Guerillas of Peace and provides KPFK with commentary. We are delighted to have added Mr. Bonpane to our agenda!

Tara Dorajbi

Ms. Dorajbi represents Tri-Valley CARES, an organization dedicated to educating the public about the danger of radioactive environments. She is a noted lecturer and subject-matter expert and Tri-Valley CARES is frequently called upon for matters involving the Livermore Lab
